SEPT Stool was brought to life for shifting our relationship with our daily objects, rising beyond simple ownership. The structure is composed of two removable 2mm steel components, a separate foam body and a simple piece of fabric, each treated as inter-independent elements. Within this framework, fabric and foam are fixed in a “sandwich‑like” arrangement. This enables anyone to assemble and disassemble the chair effortlessly within 5 minutes using a standard M4 Allen key. This intriguing duality between the juxtaposition of an otherwise very technical and angular object combined with the informal, spontaneous and familiar presence of one's own curated fabric, embodies a form of user freedom. It grants the latter the power to inhabit their space meaningfully and to nurture an object meant for a lifetime.
